ok, I lied

It wasn't really a quiet weekend after all. And I had quite a bit of fun. Sorry T! I know I told you I'd try not too have too much without you. Anyway, today I saw two concerts, Verdi's Requiem up at IC and then this evening, M had an extra ticket for Okkervil River and the New Pornographers. Both bands were good, although TNP were by far the better of the two. It was fun to see the State Theatre full of young people instead of the usual older crowd that I've see there. I hope the State does well in the coming season, it would really be terrible to lose the place! So, all you Ithacans and peeps who come to town, support the State!

Oh, btw, the soprano for the Verdi piece was quite a surprise. She was this really large lady who couldn't even stand to sing, but, the voice, magnificent!
